The reason why people want macOS on the iPad Pro is because Apple is advertising the iPad as a computer replacement, but at the moment with iPadOS, Apple is basically handicapping it by not allowing it to run fully fledged desktop software. If the iPad Pro were to get macOS, it's kind of obvious that it would get reworked. if you have to use a mouse and keyboard to comfortably navigate large parts of the OS, you might as well just get a laptop. I don't get why people want to shoehorn desktop platforms on to tablets at all costs. I wouldn't want macOS on the iPad Pro unless it was heavily reworked to be touch-friendly.
